Who does not want healthy radiant glowing skin? Everybody. Visit to the spas, beauty salons, usage of expensive skin care products are quite a common thing in todays time.

Our skin requires dollops of TLC to remain smooth and healthy. We spend tons of money on buying creams, powders, cleansers, toners, ointments, etc, to keep our skin looking and feeling beautiful and healthy. But sometimes these expensive products do more harm than ever.

Turning to using the items in your kitchen for skin care and hair care is the last thing on everyone mind. Nature has given us all the natural inexpensive ingredients within arms reach for a radiant, glowing complexion, but they remain unused most of the time. There is nothing like a mini spa like experience at home with natural ingredients that give us a chance to rejuvenate and revitalize our skin at very less or no cost.

If you are wondering why use home remedy for skin care here are few reasons - they are inexpensive, easily available at all times and one knows the ingredients that go into making skin care recipes.

Hands show our age, if not cared for. Doing household work with out wearing any protection strips the skin of its natural moisture, Products, which have high pH content and harsh alkaline ingredients can make the hand look and feel rough. Use mild pH soaps and less harsh alkaline products on hands while doing household work. Wear gloves to protect your self from cold weather, heavy gardening or housework.

Simple skin or dry body brushing daily stimulates blood and lymph flow, encourages new cell growth and exfoliates the skin. Start to brush your feet and then up the legs in one direction. Cellulite prone areas like thighs can be brushed in circular motions for about 3-5 minutes. Dry body brushing is best done every morning before a shower, as increased blood flow will wake you up.

Caring for feet at home with natural ingredients is a pleasure. Remove the old nail polish and trim your toenails. Dip your feet in large bucket of warm water filled with Epsom salts. Rinse your feet for 15 minutes and pat dry. Use pumice stone to clear away the rough spots. Push back the cuticles with an orangewood stick. Moisturize the feet with rich moisturizing cream to improve circulation and relieve fatigue. Apply two coats of nail polish preceded by a base coat or just wear socks whole day to keep the feet smooth.

How to Download an Audio Book From Your Hard Disk to Your Non-iPod Media Player

This article describes how to download an audio book file to most common brands of portable media player eg, digital River, creative, Sandisk etc. It is not applicable to Apple's iPod or some other digital players that require proprietary download software provided with the devices. (If you have an iPod, see my other article "How to download Your audio books to an iPod" also at Ezinearticles.)

Once you have downloaded your audio book to a hard disk or other storage device you must open the first file of the audio from your computer if digital rights management(DRM) licensing is in effect. DRM processes usually place a file on your hard disk drive with licensing information indicating that you are the rightful owner of the content you have downloaded. This means you can then access the audio files without any problems.

When you click on the audio file to open it, a dialogue box appears asking you for your username and password. After entering them, you can continue to work with the digital files either by listening to them on your computer or copying them to your portable media player.

Most common brands of portable media players have the capacity to handle DRM licensed files.

Don't use your internet explorer program to copy files from your hard disk to your media player. It will copy them, but you will not be able to play them because internet explorer isn't capable of handling the DRM licensing process. Instead, use windows media player (WMP or whatever software was provided by the manufacturer of your media player).

If you use windows media player (make sure you have the latest version), you simply load wmp, locate your audio files so they are listed in the Title window, highlight the files and drag them to the right into the sync list column. When you see the message "Ready to Synchronise" appear in the screen to the right of your digital audio file names in the sync list, click the start Synch button at the bottom of the screen. This will start the transfer of your files to your media player.

As soon as the files have been transferred, you can unplug your media player and listen to the files anywhere you wish.

I recommend you zip (compress the audio files) remaining on your hard disk drive and copy them to a CD as backup copies. That way you won't unnecessarily add to the clutter on your hard disk and if a disaster occurs, you'll still have the audio files you paid for.

Bluetooth Hearing Aids - What You Need To Know

bluetooth wireless technology allows wireless communication between electronic devices. bluetooth uses short-range wireless radio technology to connect devices to each other, generally within a distance of 30 ft. Newer devices may have ranges of over 100 ft. It eliminates the need for wires to be connected to all the devices, making it much easier to operate them.

Although bluetooth technology has been around for a while it is now becoming the new standard for most electronic devices. For those who wear hearing aids the technology provides the ability to use hands free devices along with the hearing aid. As most hearing aid users know, in the past, there have been compatibility issues with hearing aids and devices such as cell phone headsets and iPod ear piece. However, the latest technology incorporates bluetooth wireless technology into hearing aids, making them compatible with many bluetooth enabled devices.

bluetooth enabled hearing aids use this wireless technology twofold. bluetooth wireless technology allows for communication between two hearing aids. This helps to get the most natural hearing enhancement possible. The two hearing aids "talk" to each other to make instantaneous enhancements to improve hearing. Another exciting function of bluetooth enabled hearing aids is wireless connectivity with other bluetooth enabled devices such as cell phones and music players. This technology is a vast improvement over hearing aids in the past which were often incompatible with other devices.

Several leading manufacturers have developed bluetooth enabled hearing aids. Oticon's newest hearing aid range is called Epoq. It provides wireless binaural communication between the right and left hearing aids to make stereophonic sound more natural. Integrated bluetooth technology also enables the Epoq hearing aid to get mobile phone reception directly into it. This effectively eliminates the need for attached wires, which in the past was the only way to provide connectivity.

The Phonak's Smartlink uses integrated bluetooth technology to enable bi-directional digital link between the hearing aid and a bluetooth enabled cell phone. An external audio input or microphone signal can also be transmitted wirelessly via Smartlink to the hearing aid by attaching to the smart interface.

Starkey Laboratories offers the Eli hearing aid, which incorporates bluetooth technology allowing communication between hearing aid users, and the growing assortment of bluetooth enabled devices such as a cell phone. The Eli is the smallest bluetooth enabled hearing aid on the market.

Those who are shopping for their first hearing aid will do well by purchasing one with bluetooth technology. No matter what your needs, bluetooth technology is the wave of the future and will enable you to connect easily and wirelessly with many devices. All of the major hearing aid companies are developing their own hearing aids that utilize bluetooth technology. working with a hearing health care professional will ensure that you choose the hearing aid that is best for you and your specific hearing loss.

For people with hearing problems, getting quality hearing aids can open up a new world to them. Bluetooth hearing aids are becoming more discreet, fashionable and high tech, making them a good choice for the young and old. check out our top resources on best hearing aids at http://www.abouthearingaid.com/home

Pranayama : Ujjayi Breathing

Pranayama Yogic Breathing Ujjayi

Ujjayi breathing is one of the main varieties of pranayama and is sometimes referred to as the Victorious breath. It can be used at any time, being particularly powerful during asanas to enhance your stretch and concentration and increase your energy levels. Ujjayi breathing is easy to learn and can benefit the body by increasing the flow of prana (life force); oxygenating and purifying the blood; clearing phlegm; increasing the flexibility and strength of the thoracic area; improving digestion; toning the nervous system; and as the thoracic area strengthens, building self-confidence.

Bear in mind that you will be partly closing the epiglottis. This will allow the air to enter the windpipe more slowly and you will notice a particular feeling and a distinctive sound which accompany this. Making this sound will focus your awareness on your breath and allow you to dwell in the moment.

Start is by sitting in a comfortable position, checking that the spine is vertical. Allow the hands to rest comfortably in the lap. Relax.

Exhale fully through the nose. Inhale, and as you exhale, partially open your mouth and allow a gentle ha sounds to escape. It sounds much like the breathing Darth Vada favours. You will notice the sensation of the air vibrating in the back of your throat. Allow the inhalation to come comfortably into the lungs, but not overfilling them. Once you have understand the principle, close your mouth so that the air is moving in and out through your nostrils, with the sound and vibration continuing on both the inhalation and exhalation. Allow the breath to be long, deep and relaxing.

Avoid trying too hard. By letting go, relaxing the shoulders, softening the mouth and allowing the ujjayi breath to happen with minimum effort, you will succeed. With practice you will be able to enjoy the rhythm of the ujjayi breath and your lungs and diaphragm will strengthen as they work with the narrowing of the throat. Your energy levels will increase whilst still retaining a sense of centredness and emotional balance.
